I have been on a mini-hiatus for about 7 weeks now. I needed to step away from the blog for a bit as I was getting pretty depressed about my lack of consistent weight loss. I hit an all-time-low as far as finding something inspiring to write on here, but I am happy to say I did not give up working out, or trying to eat good. I had put back on another couple pounds due to some heavier training schedules, and also I was unaware I was consuming to much fat despite my meticulous counting. I suspect this was due to a body composition change, because I was following the same macros for a while and getting great results. Let’s just say I have hit the plateau majorly.
So here I am, back again to post with a renewed mindset. It’s August, which is back in the same month I started this journey a year ago in 2013.
With my little lesson on consuming too much fat, I have decided to do the month of August on the topic that makes the most difference in weight loss and fitness:
The obvious truth heard often is that you can’t outrun a bad diet, and sometimes when you get into training and exercising it can be easy to forget that.
So back to basics, the month of August every post will involve information on food, meal prep, and recipes…just because I feel like we all need a little refresher on this 🙂
