Yesterday was Day 15 of my second round of the Insanity program, and I must say I was pretty friggin pleased with myself for the most of it. Switch Kicks for example, I improved by like 30%.
Lower body overall was a definite improvement on this test, however I was saddened I couldn’t do much higher number for upper body moves, specifically Suicide Jumps and Push-up Jacks. It seems anything upper body is difficult for me to improve on, but before weight training, I was only able to do 7 or 8 push-up jacks, so I really have nothing to complain about now.
Power Jumps are still my nemesis…I despise the move haha. I pushed myself so hard to beat my previous count that I near threw up. Globe Jumps I also loathe…and only improved by 1, but I think that’s because I didn’t rest long enough between Power Jumps and Globes…so a lesson learned for next time.
That concludes halfway through month 1 😀 looking to beat these numbers still in two weeks time!
